How does registration work?

✔ Fast, simple and completely free
✔ After submitting your registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail almost immediately
✔ If you don’t see it within a few minutes, please check your Spam / Junk folder — sometimes messages land there

Is registration required for booking and fishing?

• Yes.

Don Carp Lake is a registration-based fishing venue, where the protection of our fish and the safety of our guests are top priority.

This means:

• Fishing spots can only be booked with an active registration
• Fishing is only permitted for registered guests
• Registration ensures that every visitor enjoys a well-organized, secure, and high-quality fishing experience, worthy of the Don Carp Lake standard.

At Don Carp Lake, our booking system is designed to be clear, simple and reliable, ensuring every guest can easily reserve their preferred spot, whether for a multi-day getaway or a spontaneous fishing trip.

How can I make a reservation?

✔ Reservations can be made exclusively online through our website.
✔ For stays longer than 48 hours, booking must be completed online.
✔ For stays shorter than 48 hours, guests may inquire in person or by phone with the bailiff (fish warden) to check availability.

• A reservation becomes valid only when the deposit has been received.

How can I modify or cancel my booking?

• All changes and cancellations must be sent by e-mail only to : doncarpbaits1@gmail.com
• Deadline: minimum 28 days before arrival.
• Requests received later than 28 days cannot be accepted, regardless of the reason.

Important:

• Each booking can be modified only once (date or fishing spot).
• If a guest does not arrive and fails to notify us by e-mail, the deposit is forfeited, all future reservations for that calendar year are suspended.
• Cancellation within 28 days → the deposit is automatically lost.
• Cancellation more than 28 days before arrival → the full deposit can be reused later in the same calendar year.

How does payment work?

• To confirm your booking, a deposit is required, equal to at least 50% of all selected services (faház / cabin, fishing ticket, boat, etc.).
• Deposit payment options:

✔ Bank transfer
✔ Personal payment on-site

✘ SZÉP card transfers are not possible for deposits.

Can I pay with a SZÉP card?

✔ Yes!
The Don Carp Lake accepts all three pockets of the MKB – K&H – OTP SZÉP cards.

SZÉP card payments can be used for:

• day tickets
• cabin rentals
• rental equipment
• baits & pellets
• buffet purchases

Important: SZÉP card payments can be made only in person, not via transfer.

The warden can immediately assist you with:

• questions about your fishing spot
• boat, weigh-sling or equipment support
• issues related to fish care (injuries, large fish, chip checking)
• technical matters (electricity, lighting, batteries)
• on-site logistics or lake-related procedures
• The warden is your first point of contact for everything that happens directly at the water.

2. If the issue is not urgent or cannot be solved by phone

(Swims 9–18 + VIP2)

One important message:

The solar-powered side is NOT weaker.
