Attention! Not reading or misunderstanding our rules does not free anyone to break those or acquit anyone from sanctions.

DUE TO THE "CATCH AND RELEASE" APPROACH AND POLICY APPLIED ON THE LAKE, EVERY ANGLER IS REQUIRED TO RELEASE EACH FISH BACK INTO THE WATER!

Every visiting angler and their guests are required to comply with our staff’s instructions and requests! Purchasing a fishing ticket means you accept the rules and regulations of the lake! Fishing tickets must be handed over to the huer when leaving.

Rules and information

Angling fishing and bank fishing are allowed.
Solely marker poles are allowed to mark feeding.
The use of feeding rockets and spombs are PROHIBITED!
Boats, feeding boats and fishing radars are allowed.
Visiting anglers are required to have weigh slings. At least 2 weigh slings/peg. We have slings available for rent!

Allowed baits

Boilies, Pellets, Micro Pellets, Stick Mix, Method Mix (we check the quality of these)

Allowed seeds

Cooked seeds (corn in any shape or form is prohibited)
Allowed seeds: tiger nut, rapeseed, millet etc limited to 10 kilograms/peg/24 hours ONLY in cooked form. The cooked seeds CANNOT include corn.

Prohibition

Dog food and corn in any shape or form is STRICTLY PROHIBITED! The use of any of these will result in an immediate ban from the lake!
Leaving rods unattended is PROHIBITED. If you’d like to leave your peg for any reason please reel in your lines even if there is someone else on your fishing peg. The breaking of this rule will result in an immediate ban from the lake!

Regulations considering hooks, lines and other equipment

Number 4 and number 6 barbless or micro barbed hooks are allowed
Max. 0,35 mm diameter mono fishing lines are allowed (Leader lines are not allowed!)
Lead core line usage is allowed to the max. of 1,5 meters
The usage of braided lines is prohibited, except if they are used as a hair braid to the max. of 20-40 cm
We only allow rigs that make it possible for the lead to fall of the line freely. Any type of knot, ring, loop, bumper, or swivel placed under the lead is prohibited!
Please don’t jerk the lines. Cut them at the shortest possible point instead.
We allow the use of 1 hook per fishing rod.

Environmental protection

IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO PLACE ANY BOTTOM RIGS BY THE BRUSH PILES. A DISTANCE OF 20 METERS MUST BE KEPT AWAY FROM BRUSH PILES AND BUSHES. THE BREAKING OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE BAN FROM THE LAKE!
The cutting or damaging of aquatic plants is PROHIBITED!
Damaging the environment’s natural habitat, the use of chemicals or littering will result in an immediate ban from the lake!

Tickets

When making a reservation we can only book for full days. Each day started at the lake will count as a full day.
Day tickets are addressed to the name of the purchaser. Only the given person is allowed to fish with the day ticket. Every person who wishes to fish is required to purchase a day ticket addressed to their own name.

Boat

Boats are to be used at one’s own risk with taking the national and EU rules and regulations into consideration!
INTOXICATED PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED ON BOATS. CHILDREN ARE ONLY ALLOWED ON BOATS IN THE COMPANY OF A PARENT AND WITH THE HUER’S PERMISSION SOLELY AT THE PARENT’S OWN RISK!

Photographing the fish

We ask every guest to please call us at any time of the day when catching a fish weighing more than 14-15 kilograms, so we can check the fish’s well-being, do the microchipping of the fish, and take a photo for ourselves as well. We thank you in advance for your cooperation! Until the arrival of the huer, each fish must be kept in the water in a sling. The keeping of fish under any other circumstance is prohibited.

Gentle Treatment

Please photograph the fish with great care and consideration! Taking photographs with the fish while standing up is prohibited! Please keep your carp cradles wet at all times and make sure to “water” the fish constantly especially on hot summer days! While taking photographs, please make sure you do not accidentally touch the fish’s gills as that will almost certainly cause the fish to die. Causing a fish’s death will result in the immediate revoking of your member’s card as well as a fine of min. 60.000.- HUF - 3.000.000.- HUF depending on the fish’s size.

Fish injuries, disinfection, cradle

We respectfully ask all of our guests to mind these wonderful animals. We ask everyone to avoid accidentally touching or fingering the gills or causing any other injuries that might result in the death of a fish. If you feel like you need any help with keeping a fish safe and sound or letting it back into the water, please don’t hesitate to let a huer know. Our huer’s are there to help!

We ask our anglers to tire the fish out gently to avoid any serious injuries. If we notice any winching, we will immediately ban you from the lake! We thank you for your increased consideration!

Hook caused wounds must ALWAYS be disinfected before letting the fish back into the water!

The use of carp cradles and big, close-woven scoop nets is required. The use of either Don Carp Lake or Nash Medi Carp Kit disinfectant liquid is required in all cases. The use of carp cradles on the bank is required. Thick matts with raised barriers are allowed on boats.

Rules considering predatory fish:

STORING OR TAKING THE FISH IS PROHIBITED! EVERY ANGLER MUST LET EACH FISH BACK INTO THE WATER! THE BREAKING OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN SUBSTANTIAL AND LEGAL CONSEQUENCES AS WELL AS AN IMMEDIATE BAN FROM THE LAKE!

Parking by the pegs is prohibited! We ask you to keep your cars in the parking lot! Thank you for your cooperation!

Rules of spin fishing

Required: Big 5-10 cm thick matt with 20-25 cm high raised barriers or carp cradle, disinfectant liquid, big scoop net and a disgorger
The use of lip grips and fishing gaffs are prohibited!
When spinning on the lake please make sure to keep a 25-30 m distance from other anglers.
To keep the fish close to the surface safe, jerk baits are prohibited!
We allow a maximum of 2 (only barbless single) hooks on wobblers and other fake baits.
Wire leaders are allowed.
Braided lines are allowed to the max of 20-25 meters
In the case of any accidental catching of any kind of fish, please let the huer know before letting the fish back into the water!
Spin fishing by the VIP pegs are prohibited!

Rules of live bait fishing

Our pike and catfish stock are both excellent, so the use of subfloats is allowed when using bottom rigs.
If anyone would like to bring their rigs onto the lake, we have boats for rent.

The use of lip grips and fishing gaffs are prohibited!
Bringing bait fish to the area of the lake is prohibited!
You may only use fish you caught in the lake or fish you purchased from us as bait.
Bait fish are sold at market price on the lake.

In case of misdemeanor

Anglers will be held responsible for any injuries/death to any fish caused by neglect or killing any fish. They will be fined regardless of the fish’s breed. Fines: Pike: 6.500.- HUF + VAT / kg, Bass: 7.500.- HUF + VAT / kg

We regularly check our visitors to make sure our rules are being kept. Please don’t be bothered by our huers’ work! Any occurrences outside of our rules are only to be taken care of by the authorized owner of the lake. By purchasing a day ticket you understand and accept the regulations listed above.
